CHANNEL FOR ALL NATIONS


The International Christian Assembly in its endeavor to reach a wider community set up a media department, which would enhance its outreach programmes through mass media. Amongst its media programs is Channel for All Nations (CAN) Radio. 

Channel for All Nations Radio, is heard on 101.5fm in the Central Region and 105fm in the Southern region.  Established in 2004 under the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA), CAN Radio exists to propagate, teach and expound, the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, provide holistic counseling to the disenfranchised, disciple the nations and also facilitate meaningful service to humanity. 

  Our coverage is in 17 districts namely, Zomba, Blantyre, Chiradzulu, Phalombe, Mulanje, Thyolo, Mwanza, Chikwawa, Balaka, Mangochi, Machinga, Lilongwe, Dowa, Ntcheu, Salima and Mnchinji. Other frequencies and transmission equipment have been acquired to reach the rest of the country.


We have so far partnered with Malawi Interfaith Aids Association (MIAA), the American Embassy (Democracy and Human Rights Fund) National AIDS Commission (NAC), PLAN Malawi, Church Team Ministries International (CTMI- Mauritius), United Nations Children’s Fund  (UNICEF), Malawi Girl Guides Association (MAGGA) amongst others.


With an estimated listen ship of about 7 million, CAN radio sees itself growing to reaching the whole nation and also enlarging its financial income base from the current Mk1,500,000 per annual  to over Mk 8.5 million per annual. The radio is currently sub vented by the International Christian Assembly  church.

Amongst our informative, educative and entertaining programs are also those that focus on HIV and AIDS, Food Security, Development, good governance and others.  We tackle all these important issues from a Christian perspective.
