Children's Ministry

Children like adults have needs that can only be met through salvation. But they need to be directed towards this salvation in believing in Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal savior on their comprehension level.

The ICA has a children’s church that has well trained children workers and their Pastor who will instruct your child to this saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

"Our focus for children is on relational knowledge of Christ. Jesus wants to be their friend. This language is more concrete and understandable for the child. Accountability ages differ from child to child. From the ages of 4 to 6 years a child would be able to understand salvation through faith in Jesus."

The children’s church will then lead the child into understanding the two ordinances of the church. Baptism and the partaking of the Holy Communion. As the child is growing in stature they will also grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. The child will also be taught the baptism.

Our goal is to have a well established, Godly, Evangelistic Children’s Church. Our purpose is to provide anChildren's Church atmosphere of care and love for children. Well structured lessons are taught to meet children’s needs.

We have organized outings and game days that enhance children social and physical development. For their intellectual development, they write exams at the end of every thirteenth week of lessons. This helps us to know if learning has taken place.

Every child is encouraged to memorize scriptures as in Psalm 119 Vs 11 “I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You.” The hidden word in a child’s heart will help them face challenges of the world.

We urge you to encourage your children to attend the ICA children’s church. Together, at home and at the church with God’s help we will be able to raise Godly children. As the bible mandates us “To train a child in the way he should go, and when he grows up he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22 Vs 6 is our key verse in the ICA Children’s Ministry.
